Burns & Wilcox brand ambassador Max Homa opened the 2022-23 PGA Tour season with a victory at the Fortinet Championship in Napa, California on Sunday, his fifth career PGA victory.
Homa is one of three PGA Tour players currently sponsored by Burns & Wilcox. The Farmington Hills, Michigan-based wholesale insurance broker and underwriting manager also sponsors seven-time winner Webb Simpson, six-time winner Jimmy Walker and LPGA golfer Sophia Schubert.
Burns & Wilcox signed Homa to a sponsorship deal in March 2021.
A southern California native, Homa returned to the Golden State this past weekend to defend his title at the Fortinet Championship. Homa shot a four-under 66 Sunday to edge out runner-up Danny Willett by one stroke.
