Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company, a provider of property and casualty insurance for Christian ministries, has launched a new brand – Brotherhood Works – to unify and expand the company’s suite of existing products and services designed to support ministry staff and volunteers.
Brotherhood Works offers a comprehensive range of solutions, including payroll and HR, human capital management (HCM), time & attendance, employee benefits, workers’ compensation, accident insurance, critical illness coverage, mission travel insurance, and background checks.
Ministries often operate without dedicated HR departments, leaving individuals to manage complex administrative tasks, Brotherhood Mutual said in a press release. The gap prompted many ministry leaders to ask Brotherhood Mutual to help them find tools and resources for managing many tasks that are typically done by someone in HR.
When ministries don’t have access to the tools that help them care for their people, they risk compliance and employment issues, the company said.
Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Brotherhood Mutual serves more than 67,000 churches, schools, colleges and universities, camps, and mission organizations in 47 states and the District of Columbia.
