Crum&Forster announced that De’Andre Salter joined the company as director, Management Protection, a newly formed division of the Fairfax Holding-owned p/c carrier. Salter will be responsible for the strategic direction of the division.
The new division was created in response to corporate liability needs of small to middle market companies.
Managing director and chief underwriting officer, Doug Gaudet said “Many large companies do an excellent job in recognizing the needs of the Fortune 1000, but neglect the small to middle market. Our experience in commercial property and casualty insurance enabled us to offer value-added innovative solutions that meet their needs and are competitively priced.”
Salter was previously employed by Chubb where he served as an assistant vice president and global product manager in its executive protection department. He was responsible for the overall position of a $150 million book of business.
