Reliance Group holdings Inc. has expanded its portfolio of e-commerce insurance coverages with the introduction of eBOP, which enables agents to obtain a quote and bind commercial property and liability online in a matter of minutes.
eBOP, tailored toward the small business, is the third Reliance product to go online, joining CyberComp workers’ comp coverage and Umbrella Online. All three products will be marketed through Point, Click and Bind Inc., a new Reliance company focused on e-commerce insurance business. In 1999, CyberComp, Reliance’s first online product, generated $146 million in gross premiums written, up from $81 million in 1998.
