Ebix.com Launches TV Channel, Comprehensive Research Center

ebix.com plans to take online insurance one step further, offering an educational Internet television channel as well as comprehensive market research center for both consumers and insurance professionals. ebix TV will offer extensive programming toward continuing education for insurance professionals in addition to a variety of insurance-related productions from a variety of companies.

The ebix.com Research Center will provide users with immediate access to information including purchasing insurance or writing a policy. Everything from test crash results and company financial analysis to the basic steps of filing a claim.

Additionally, ebix has begun signing leading carriers to offer the research center on their sites, demonstrating the industry’s acknowledgment of the center as an online library for insurance-related questions and issues providing access to a level of insurance research previously limited to carriers and agents.
