The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society has officially entered international waters with the induction of the new Bermuda Chapter. The board of governors approved the new chapter at the Society’s winter meeting in early April.
The Society hopes to create a forum to link the new chapter with people currently working toward the CPCU designation. CPCU has already been providing tutors to the Bermuda Insurance Institute (BII) and hopes to continue.
CPCU has garnered support not only from BII, but from the major insurance players in Bermuda, including ACE, XL and Swiss Re.
