National Alliance Producer School Graduates First

July 7, 2000

Three weeks of intensive insurance study culminated in the graduation of the first 42 participants of The National Alliance School for Producer Development last month.

The campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., was home to the students from May 21 through June 9, where a faculty of nationally recognized insurance and risk management practitioners came together to train industry newcomers.

The participants came from 25 states, with 74 percent associated with commercial lines-focused agencies. The average age of the attendees was 26. The school is a product of The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, a 31-year-old not-for-profit organization serving over 104,000 participants throughout the U.S., Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
