Progressive Insurance is offering agents policy access and the ability to complete endorsements online through its agent-dedicated web site, www.ForAgentsOnly.com. Agents will save time usually spent trading phone calls with customers and Progressive to make policy changes.
It will take agents five to 10 minutes to completely process and endorsement on FAO. The new additions are a part of the overall redesign of the site, which was elevated in mid-June, 2000. Agents can use tabs to navigate the site and obtain the information they need. They also have greater access to their own production numbers, allowing them to monitor their agency’s performance more closely.
Online policy access gives agents direct access to all customer information such as billing schedules, driving records and account history, as well as the ability to view and print policy documents sent to customers. Agents can even request ID cards or declarations pages online. This information helps agents locate information about their customers’ policies without having to rummage through hard copy files. It saves agents time and helps them provide better service to their customers.
