Pierce is responsible for the underwriting, marketing, claims and administration of the division, which specializes in directors’ and officers’ liability, insurance company professional liability, professional liability for non-profit associations and school leaders professional liability.
Pierce joined Great American in 1986 as an underwriter in the Executive Liability Division and has held various positions, most recently Divisional Executive Vice President since 1998. He has over 18 years of experience in D&O underwriting and development of new E&O insurance products, coverages and business programs.
Pierce will continue to be based in the company’s divisional offices in Schaumburg, Illinois.
