Service Vicinity Corp., a provider of clicks-and-mortar marketing services to the insurance industry, has signed an agreement with Nationwide Financial Services Inc., to offer Nationwide’s customers access to Vicinity’s Business Finder solution.
Nationwide will use Vicinity’s service to power an Agent Locator that will help customers find information and detailed directions to its more than 5,000 representatives throughout the United States. By using Vicinity’s Agent Locator, Nationwide customers will be able to find the agent nearest to a specific street address, cross street, city center, or zip code that satisfies the customer’s criteria; including what type of credit card the agents accept, whether or not the office is open on Sundays, and other specific agent requests.
After selecting the criteria, customers can access point-to-point driving directions and other information about the nearest Nationwide agent. Vicinity also provides its Business Finder service to Liberty Mutual, Prudential, Great American Insurance Company, MetLife, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama, CorVel Corp., Amco Auto Insurance and Kaiser Permanente.
