CNA E&S, a business division of CNA, has aligned with ICSA.net, an Internet security assurance business, and broker Sherwood Insurance Services. Through their alliance CNA E&S, Sherwood and ICSA.net will promote CNANetProtect, a recently introduced e-commerce insurance product and TruSecure, a multi-disciplined ICSA.net service that assures the security of Internet operations for all types of business enterprises.
Sherwood is CNA E&S’s program manager for CNANetProtect. The first-party protection offered by CNANetProtect includes business interruption coverage for network downtime and the expenses incurred to restore software and data. The third-party protection includes liability coverage for denial of access, transmission of viruses, electronic publishing, and electronic information damage, including loss of data belonging to others.
