Thomas J. Rodell, a managing director for Aon Risk Consultants in Chicago, has been named chairman of The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers. Rodell is a long-time member of the Council’s board. Most recently, he served as the Council’s vice chairman.
Other members of the Council’s 2001 Executive Committee include: Vice Chairman, John L. Van Osdall, CPCU, senior vice president property & casualty, USI Insurance Services Corp., Houston, TX; Treasurer, William R. Wilkerson, III, chairman and CEO, Haas & Wilkerson, Inc., Shawnee Mission, Kansas; and Secretary, Frederick J. deGrosz, president and CEO, ABD Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., Belmont, California. Newly elected board members include: Daniel D. Hite, executive vice president, Polk & Sullivan Group, Inc., Nashville, TN; and Michael J. Minnaugh, president, Peak Insurance Group, Inc., Phoenix, AZ.
