The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, a trade association for the commercial insurance industry, announced it has assumed ownership of and responsibility for the annual Russell Miller Leadership Symposium.
The 13th annual Symposium will be held March 4 and 5, 2001 at the Westin St. Francis Hotel, San Francisco, CA. The Symposium is one of the industry’s top annual leadership meetings. The annual Insurance Leadership Symposium was founded in 1989 by Russell Miller, Inc.
“With The Council assuming ownership responsibilities, the future of the Symposium is assured,” Miller said. “I am delighted and look forward to working with The Council to ensure a seamless transition.”
The Council’s president, Ken Crerar, notes, “Every March for the last 12 years, the leaders of our industry, having gathered in San Francisco for the Russell Miller seminar, return to their businesses with new ideas to improve their bottom line, to remain at the forefront of our industry. … Working with Russell Miller, we will continue a high standard of excellence. This meeting will remain one of the must-do meetings for progressive, top- flight companies.”
Through The Symposium, Crerar said, The Council will expand its programming presence on the West Coast, complementing The Council’s traditions of service to industry leaders.
