WCC Online Inc., parent company of the WorkComp.Com resource for agents and brokers, has appointed two key executives: Gene Axtell as Vice President of Technology Services; and Mark Finnegan as Vice President of Engineering & Finance. Axtell will work with agents, brokers and insurers in evaluating and refining the online suite of workers’ compensation insurance transaction and information services under development by WCC, according to Robert J. Gore, CEO.
Axtell is an experienced underwriting technologies executive and licensed broker, joining WCC after more than two decades of underwriting management at seven large commercial lines carriers. Finnegan has started and led two network technology integration firms, and serves as a venture finance consultant to two boutique venture capital firms in California.
WCC is a transaction and information services network that will enable online collaboration between agents and insurers. The company’s technology architecture is being engineered to enhance account services by the agent, while WCC remains invisible, according to Gore.
