Jeffrey H. Koenig is joining Meadowbrook Insurance Group as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Koenig will be responsible for financial operations and will be a member of the executive management team. Koenig will replace William J. Lohmeyer, who has resigned his position as senior vice president, chief financial officer and director to pursue other opportunities.
Koenig previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Amerisafe Inc., a specialty workers’ compensation insurer based in Louisiana. Prior to Amerisafe, he was vice president of finance and treasurer of Executive Risk Inc., a provider of professional liability and related products. During his tenure at Executive Risk, Koenig developed forecasting models, designed and implemented key internal controls and played an integral role in doubling its capital base.
