Ed Kelly has been promoted to executive vice president, chief operating and chief financial officer for ICAT Managers. Kelly joined ICAT earlier this year.
Prior to joining ICAT, Kelly served as vice president and CFO of Royal & Sun Alliance’s Specialty Division in Monterey, Calif., where he was responsible for overall financial and accounting operations. He also served as vice president of finance and operations for C.E. Heath Compensation and Liability Insurance Co., and as a senior manager for Ernst & Young with tenures in the U.S. as well as internationally.
Kelly has both his undergraduate and graduate business degrees from DePaul University and he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. According to CEO John C. Graham, Kelly’s impact on the company has been “very positive.” Formed in 1998, ICAT Managers underwrites earthquake and windstorm coverages for commercial properties throughout the U.S. The company underwrites on behalf of Clarendon National Insurance Company.
