Allied Insurance has made it possible for customers to view and print their policy online at the company’s site www.myAlliedPolicy.com. In addition to the newest features, the site also offers customers access to auto and homeowners policy coverages, limits and premiums; current billing account status as well as previous payment history; locations of premier repair shops; automatic payments via an EFT request function; and links to other insurance-related sites and a glossary of insurance terms.
The site will also offer an online claims inquiry very soon. A preview of the features can be viewed without signing onto the site by selecting “View a sample of our site.” Allied is a property/casualty insurer established in Des Moines, Iowa in 1929. In 1998, Allied joined Nationwide Insurance and assumed responsibility for its independent agency system.
