Armida Quiroga, ACSR, of Aon Risk Services of Texas Inc. in Houston, was recently named National ACSR of the Year by the Independent Insurance Agents of America. Quiroga holds the ACSR designation in commercial lines.
A graduate of the University of Houston, she currently serves as account manager for Aon Risk Services of Texas. The ACSR of the Year award recognizes the outstanding accredited customer service representative among IIAA member agencies. Quiroga was presented a $1,500 check from IIAA at a special recognition gathering at her office in Houston.
In addition to the cash award, she will receive free registration and texts for any IIA/CPCU educational course, compliments of the Insurance Institute of America and CPCU. As the Texas ACSR of the Year, Quiroga won a $1,000 prize sponsored by Myron F. Steves, presented during the 2000 IIAT convention held in Dallas last June.
