June 11, 2001

Bellevue, Wash.-based Baldwin Resources Group Inc. (BRG), a provider of commercial insurance and capital formation services, selected Enterprise System Solutions Incorporated (ESSI) as the exclusive provider of network security solutions for all clients of BRG’s Insurance Division.

BRG underwrites more than $15 million in commercial insurance for clients such as Microsoft Corporation, Boeing and Nike. ESSI is a provider of security, risk analysis and content protection services that defend corporate computer networks from unauthorized use.

The multi-million dollar strategic alliance between the two companies enables ESSI to provide each BRG client with customized security solutions, which will protect a company’s corporate network and intellectual property from theft, corruption and unauthorized use. ESSI uses an architectural approach to design and deploy a customized security program for each client. ESSI’s suite of security solutions includes proprietary security software, training programs, technical assistance and security management services.

“ESSI’s partnership with BRG enables us to provide our customized security services and technologies to long-established companies, who have billions of dollars worth of intellectual assets at risk,” said Jerry Ketterling, CEO and co-founder of ESSI.

“BRG chose ESSI because they are truly experts in the field of enterprise network security,” said Bill Baldwin, CEO and president of BRG. “Too many companies have added security services, almost as an afterthought, to an already full plate of corporate consulting services. We wanted our clients to use the resources of a leading, specialized network security firm and we think that ESSI is simply the best in their industry. Insurance is wonderful when you need it, but prevention is better.”
