Fiserv Renames FREEDOM Insurance Division

Fiserv Inc. announced the renaming of the FREEDOM Insurance Division to Fiserv Advanced Insurance Solutions. The new identification is part of the market positioning strategy for the recently formed Administrative Solutions Division of the Fiserv Insurance Solutions Group.

Tony Perdichezzi, President of both the Administrative Solutions Division and of Fiserv Advanced Insurance Solutions, said the new name better positions the unit for the future.

Perdichezzi added that FREEDOM’s Insurance Division had built its business model for “today’s information savvy customer,” and the name change reflected its aggressive direction and technology-based product offerings such as Claims Workstation and Policy STAR™.
