Access to full-motion video results of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) low-speed front and rear bumper crash tests for seven new midsize sport utility vehicles is available at progressive.com.
The latest tests report marginal to poor bumper ratings for the 2001 Toyota Highlander, 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2001 Pontiac Aztek, 2002 Isuzu Axiom, 2002 Buick Rendezvous and 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The 2001 Acura MDX was the best performer.
