Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the completion of three acquisitions; E. S. Susanin Inc. of Rocky Hill, Conn.; Midwest Surety Services Inc. and Central Surety Agency Inc. both of Brookfield, Wis. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Incorporated in 1993, E. S. Susanin is a surety bond agency handling the bonding needs for a clientele mainly in the construction industries in the Northeast. Ernest Susanin and his staff will continue to operate in their present location, under the direction of John Stancik, Gallagher’s Northeast Regional Manager.
Central Surety Agency, incorporated in 1973, and Midwest Surety Services, incorporated in 1978, both specialize in surety bonds for the construction industry. The majority of their clients are located in the Wisconsin area. The founders, Dennis Barton and Joseph Vigna, respectively, and their staffs will continue to operate in their current locales under the direction of Tom Gallagher, Regional Manager.
Michael J. Cloherty, executive vice president, noted that Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is continually looking to expand its product and service capabilities to provide the best possible options for its clients.
