The Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA) and Future One, an agent/company partnership, will host the third biennial Insurance Campaign Institute for agents and other insurance professionals interested in running for elected office.
The Insurance Campaign Institute provides insurance industry professionals with the tools, knowledge and expertise required to run a successful campaign, ultimately increasing the industry’s representation in Congress, state capitals and in local communities. The third biennial Insurance Campaign Institute will be held Feb. 20-22 at the Westin Fairfax Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Essentially a political “boot camp,” the comprehensive political training program covers all facets of the campaign trail, from organization to grassroots strategies, fundraising, direct mail, advertising, media relations, public speaking, debate preparation, campaign research, and use of insurance community strength.
Individual training sessions will be conducted by the nation’s most prominent campaign experts from the private sector and both major parties.
