American International Group Inc’s. (AIG’s) American International Companies have retained Clayton Consulting to provide crisis response services to its commercial insureds.
Formed by Thomas A. Clayton, a security analyst and consultant, Clayton Consulting will provide pre-incident and crisis response services to American International Companies Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion and Malicious Product Tampering policyholders in both the United States and internationally. Clayton, who is president of Clayton Consulting, was most recently an international business and security consultant with Kroll Associates. Prior to joining Kroll in 1990, he had ten years consulting experience with other security organizations in the United States and as an independent consultant.
Diane Borden, vice president of AIU Commercial Lines and head of its Crisis Management unit, said, “Clayton Consulting will contribute significant risk management and security resources to our insureds. Tom Clayton and his team, who have worked with AIG clients for years, possess a track record that is second to none. We look forward to continuing this successful relationship, and we are pleased to offer the Clayton Consulting services to our Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion and Malicious Product Tampering policyholders.”
American International Companies offers crisis management products and services through AIU Crisis Management and AIG WorldSource, underwriting insurance for crisis situations, including kidnap for ransom, extortion of any kind, accidental or malicious product contamination, terrorism and sabotage, workplace violence, and political evacuation.
