Insurity, a ChoicePoint® company, has signed First American Insurance Company to a multi-year software licensing agreement. First American will use Insurity’s Commercial Intellisys® platform to process general liability and commercial auto coverage for a school bus program, underwritten by Alternative Transportation Providers Insurance Agency, Inc. (ATP).

Commercial Intellisys is an integrated underwriting, rating and policy- production system that allows underwriters to customize questions, scoring rules and messages quickly and easily. The system provides score-based underwriting for risk acceptability, instant follow-up information and application-information confirmation using carrier parameters. Such parameters often include elements such as MVRs, credit scores, telephone verification, and/or on-site surveys.
Information-ordering components allow underwriters to review initial information before requesting additional verification; reference materials that provide information such as city-file features, NCCI manuals, NAIC codes, address verifications, and SCIs.
