Norvax Inc., a Web services company for the insurance industry, has unveiled a set of tools and services to enable insurance agents and providers to make money on the Internet. Norvax’s products allow insurance carriers to generate more sales through the Internet by helping the individual agents develop an effective Internet presence, attract customers and sell more insurance online. Insurance providers also can increase their sales by providing Norvax’s tools to its agents.
“Insurance has traditionally been sold through agents, and it will continue to be sold that way, but more and more people are searching for insurance online. Our research indicates more than 27 million online searches for insurance will be conducted in 2002,” said Brandon Cruz, Norvax’s president and chief technology officer, said. “We give agents what they need to take advantage of the evolving insurance marketplace and the power of the Internet to generate sales online.”
