The Insurance Committee for Arson Control, a non-profit insurance industry organization dedicated to arson control, has created a news/investigation resources electronic newsletter—the ICAC Arson Update. Its first edition is available for review at the organization’s Web site www.arsoncontrol.org and interested persons can subscribe to the free newsletter on the site.
The newsletter will feature short descriptions of current fire and arson investigation news that can be located on the ICAC’s Web site, and will also feature direct links to important fire investigation resources and articles located elsewhere on the Internet.
“This newsletter will help anyone interested in fire and arson issues to keep current with resources and news that address practical fire investigation procedures and public policy issues as well,” commented Gregg Dykstra, executive director of ICAC. “It helps bring relevant information to all concerned individuals, and particularly the fire claim investigator, in a quick and easy format that saves them the time and effort of having to look for the information themselves.”
