LiveVault Corporation®, a provider of fully managed online backup and recovery services, and AMS Services, Inc., an insurance software developer, announced that AMS has joined the LiveVault Partner Program. The partnership will deliver automatic server backup and data protection to AMS’s AfW customers.
AfW is one of AMS’s management system solutions for the insurance agency marketplace. Using client/server technology and an SQL database, the AfW system supports significant amounts of mission-critical customer and policy data.
LiveVault is a fully managed, continuous and reliable service that lets AfW customers back up this server data to an off-site Iron Mountain® vault. The data can then be quickly and easily restored in the event of human error, system failure, virus attack or disaster. LiveVault displaces tape-based backup methods, which are inefficient, error-prone, cumbersome and create a window of data vulnerability.
