Insurance Information Exchange (iiX), a provider of insurance underwriting services, was awarded the Privacy Monitor certification by Privacy Council, Inc., a global supplier of privacy and data protection services.
iiX is a unit of ISO Claims Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO). iiX received the Privacy Monitor certification following an extensive audit of privacy policy and practices, including an assessment of its Internet-based services and business practices.
Privacy Council also audited iiX’s Internet environment and account-maintenance procedures and conducted in-depth employee interviews on privacy awareness.
