National Interstate has been recently approved to act as a Write Your Own (WYO) carrier for the NFIP’s Flood Insurance Program in all 50 states. They are currently seeking agencies of all sizes to write Flood insurance and RV specialty insurance.
National Interstate will be utilizing Flood Connect’s Web-based system which provides free Flood Zone determinations, easy to use rating and policy inquiry, on-line payments processing and more. They capitalized on the exit of a former WYO carrier by hiring their senior underwriters, each with 16 years of Flood underwriting experience. Therefore, service and agent training will be superior from the start.
They are also introducing an Express Quote program to simplify the process for agents who do not write a lot of Flood insurance. Agents can get a quote directly from the National Interstate Flood Underwriting Department by filling out a simple on-line form. The quote will be provided to the agent within 24 hours. Agents may also have access to National Interstate’s Specialty RV program in which they insure all types of RV’s from the pop-up to the $1,500,000 luxury coach.
They offer the RV product in 39 states and offer features, such as:
* Total Loss replacement
* Coverage for high valued units – up to $1.5 million
* Liability limits up to $1 million
* Full-timers coverage
* And many, many more
