International Insurance Group, Inc., an MGA specializing in the USA/Mexico crossborder market, announced several new products offered to agents and brokers online via IIG’s Web site www.mexicaninsuranceonline.com.
In addition to Mexican personal and commercial auto, the Web site now allows agents, brokers, and their customers to immediately quote, bind and issue Mexican Homeowners Insurance coverage and Mexican Watercraft Liability coverage, along with “full coverage” insurance for motorcycles entering Mexico.
Jim Labelle, president of IIG, noted, “With the addition of these products added to our unique web-based distribution system, we have further distinguished ourselves as the leading provider of USA/Mexico crossborder coverage. Our auto, home, and watercraft products are all underwritten by A- or better carriers in Mexico, and offer coverages not typically available from other Mexican insurers. With the increasing number of homes owned or rented in Mexico by U.S. citizens, and the Mexican government’s recent decision to require watercraft liability coverage for boats operating in Mexican waters, we believe that these products will further help our agents to service their current clients and develop cross border books of business”
Agents interested in producing can sign up online at www.mexicaninsuranceonline.com. Commissions are 25 percent on auto, 10 percent on homeowners, and 15 percent on watercraft, PLUS significant policy fee income to the agent.
