Zurich North America and the Louisiana Department of Insurance have joined the NeighborWorks® National Insurance Task Force (NITF). Convened by the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation in 1994, NITF works to develop partnerships between the insurance industry and community-based organizations.
“Insurers and regulators bring a great deal of knowledge and expertise to the Task Force,” said NITF Director Todd Pittman. “We are confident that these new partners will make a difference in the lives of low-income and minority homeowners.”
The National Insurance Task Force comprises insurance companies, insurance industry trade associations, insurance regulators, educational institutions, Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation and the members of the national NeighborWorks® network.
