The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) has named Steve Fushelberger vice president of Public Affairs.
Fushelberger reportedly brings extensive public affairs, media relations, advertising and marketing knowledge of consumer and business-to-business products in regulated environments from both the public relations/advertising agency and client perspectives.
Most recently he served as Vice President – Marketing Communications for Avolar, the business aviation operations of UAL Corp. (United Airlines).
“Steve will be an extremely valuable addition to the NAMIC staff,” said Chuck Chamness, NAMIC president. “He brings excellent leadership skills, tremendous organizational abilities and in-depth operational experience to the association.” Fushelberger replaces Chamness, who headed Public Affairs prior to his promotion earlier this year.
