CPCU Society Redesigns Web site

January 18, 2005

The CPCU Society announced it has redesigned its Web site (www.cpcusociety.org) so that members and users can find the information they are looking for quickly and logically. The new site enhanced its navigation system to make it easier for users to access information in fewer clicks.

Included in the redesign are the following:

— The new home page has a list of links on the left-hand side of the page to the most requested pages. The links are categorized to assist users in finding what they want quickly.

— Once members are logged on, the home page will welcome them by complete name.

— “Membership” and “Chapters” are now their own main categories, so users can access information in fewer clicks.

— “Professional Development” now contains information about the Society’s local, regional and national educational events, as well as career development articles and more.

— There is a separate category that links to the CPCU’s regular “Publications.”

The new Web site also provides a “Today in History” section, which gives fresh, new content to the home page each day. Daily news feeds, which were present before the redesign, still remain on the home page.
