NBIS, the exclusive manager of ProBuilders Specialty Insurance Co. RRG, has appointed Joseph Savarese its chief underwriting officer.
Savarese, who joined NBIS earlier this year as senior vice president of underwriting, has more than 20 years of industry experience.
In making the announcement, Peter Foley, NBIS CEO, noted, “Joe is a tested leader who values disciplined underwriting and technical expertise. Over the past three years we have demonstrated the high level of underwriting discipline needed to leverage a competitive marketplace. Today’s announcement illustrates our commitment to excellence.”
Supporting Savarese will be Vice Presidents of Underwriting Scott Davis (Palm Desert, Calif.) and Jerry O’Neill (Middletown, N.J.).
