Willis Group Holdings has appointed of David Wynstra as executive vice president of their National Health Care Practice based in San Francisco, Calif.
Wynstra was formerly a division president of A.J. Gallagher’s Health Care First Practice. An insurance and managed care risk management specialist, Wynstra has spent his career working in the health care broking sector.
Previously, Wynstra was involved in the development of prospects and
clients for A.J. Gallagher’s Health Care Practice. In his 16 years with the company, he developed specific and exclusive insurance and reinsurance arrangements for clients in Disease Management Fee
Reinsurance, Provider Excess Programs for Carve Out organizations, and E&O and D&O offerings for major insurers within the managed care segment of health care.
Wynstra is credentialed by the American Health Care Accreditation Committee, and is an active member of the American Association of Health Plans. Wynstra had previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the Health Care Reimbursement Panel, Director of The Utilization Review Accreditation Commission, and a founding Director of the Disease Management Association of America.
