Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., a provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, announced that Endurance’s U.S. subsidiary, Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America has appointed Kevin Rooney as senior vice president and manager, Professional Liability Department.
Rooney has 20 years of professional experience in the property and casualty reinsurance industry with Gen Re. Most recently, Rooney served as a vice president in the Corporate Underwriting Division responsible for D&O, E&O, EPLI, and Fiduciary Product Lines.
In addition, Steven Dresner will assume the position at Endurance Re of manager, Workers Compensation Department. Dresner joined Endurance Re in 2003 as a senior vice president and regional underwriting manager. Dresner had previously served as the Casualty Practice leader for Hart Re.
Art Bocek will assume management responsibility for Endurance Re’s Personal Accident Reinsurance portfolio. Bocek has been with Endurance since 2003.
Bocek will report to Laura Shanahan, senior vice president, manager, Surety and Personal Accident Department. These changes represent an expansion of duties for both Bocek and Shanahan.
