W. R. Berkley Corporation has named Robert C. Hewitt and Peter L. Kamford as senior vice presidents in its specialty segment, and Robert D. Stone as senior vice president of its alternative markets segment.
Hewitt will serve as senior vice president for excess and surplus lines division. He previously was senior vice president for alternative markets operations.
Kamford joins the company as senior vice president for specialty products division. He has had more than 25 years of experience in property casualty insurance, most recently as managing director of Guy Carpenter & Company.
Stone, presently managing director of Berkley Capital, LLC, will assume oversight responsibility for the company’s alternative markets operations.
