NBIS, the exclusive underwriting manager for ProBuilders Specialty Insurance Company, RRG, has acquired Special Risk Services Group LLC. (SRS), a Chicago based specialty program underwriter. SRS is an experienced insurance service provider in the crane – rigging and heavy haul transportation industry.
Kevin Cunningham continues as president and chief executive officer of SRS, while assuming the additional title of senior vice president of NBIS. “Aligning with NBIS gives SRS the ability to deliver a broader array of services to our clients, to meet their ever-changing insurance and risk mitigation needs,” Cunningham said. “Our goals are to strengthen our leadership position in the crane/rigging and specialized transport insurance marketplace, and to assist NBIS in the continued achievement of its dynamic growth objectives.”
SRS is a specialty program underwriter that provides administration of risk management-based construction trade group programs and has a network of over 200 agents and brokers nationwide.
NBIS, headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., creates insurance programs specifically formulated for the individual needs of its clients, and maintains control of its business through in-house claims and underwriting. The alliance between NBIS and ProBuilders has earned the endorsement of nine state Home Builders Associations and an “A” (Exceptional) rating from Demotech.
