PEORIA, Ill.-based RLI Corp has hired Craig Kliethermes, FCAS, MAAA, CPCU, as the company’s new vice president, actuarial services.
Kliethermes will report to RLI Sr. Vice President, CFO Joseph Dondanville. Kliethermes’ responsibilities include pricing, reserving, enterprise risk modeling and actuarial analysis of new business opportunities.
Kliethermes comes to RLI from Lockton Companies in Kansas City, where he was senior vice president & director of quantitative analysis. He has also served at the executive level with GE Insurance/Employers Reinsurance, and John Deere Insurance Company. A magna cum laude graduate of Maryville College in St. Louis, Kliethermes also is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
