Apex Global Partners Names McLaughlin President and COO

Apex Global Partners, a Dallas-based private insurance brokerage firm providing insurance, risk management and employee benefit services to medium to large corporate clients, announced the appointment of K. Brian McLaughlin as president and chief operating officer. Additionally, McLaughlin has been named a director and vice chairman of the Apex Global Partners board of directors.

In his new role McLaughlin will be responsible for the daily operations of Apex’s Southwestern and New England operations, as well as continuing as president and CEO of the Granite Group Benefits offices in Manchester, N.H.

McLaughlin founded Granite Group Benefits in 1992 and has been involved in corporate insurance and benefits for over eighteen years. He also serves on the advisory boards of several public insurance companies and is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Mclaughlin is also involved in several community organizations, including serving as past chairman and board member of the Greater Manchester Red Cross and as board member of Child Health Services and the New Hampshire Better Business Bureau.
