August 17, 2006

ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, has appointed Scott Lambert as Senior Vice President, ACE Global Solutions. He will have responsibility for leading the ACE USA International Advantage(R) product and underwriting team, including overseeing staff management and its overall growth and profitability. The ACE USA International Advantage unit provides international insurance products and services for U.S.-based businesses.

“Scott’s demonstrated expertise, strategic vision and strong leadership qualities, coupled with his extensive broker and client relationships, will greatly contribute to the continued growth of the ACE USA International Advantage suite of services and product offerings,” stated Carl Bach, Executive VP, ACE Global Solutions.

Lambert has more than 19 years of diverse insurance experience. He most recently served as Senior VP, Regional Operations for ACE Professional Risk, where he was responsible for the overall management, marketing and underwriting operations for ACE USA’s professional liability and management liability product lines. He joined ACE USA from AIG, where he spent ten years, including serving as Assistant VP, Zone Manager, responsible for managing the East Coast and Canadian Professional Liability regional operations for National Union. He has extensive underwriting experience in professional liability, Internet and technology exposures.

“Now more than ever, the global marketplace is a risky environment for U.S.-based companies doing business overseas, and it is important that these organizations understand the insurance risks faced by their employees,” Bach added. “With Scott at the helm of this specialty area, the ACE USA International Advantage team is uniquely positioned to offer exceptional products and services to organizations with employees who are working or traveling overseas.”

The ACE USA International Advantage suite of insurance products and services helps to minimize exposures that occur when companies do business abroad. Exposures outside of the U.S. include employee travel (or employees temporarily or permanently stationed in other countries); and, products exported or sold, and services marketed, outside the U.S. ACE USA International Advantage is offered through ACE Global Solutions, a division of ACE USA.
