Mercator Risk Services has appointed Dena (Cusick) Magyar to its Professional Liability practice as vice president. Magyar will be based in the New York office.
Prior to joining Mercator, Magyar served as a senior account manager at Rand Insurance, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Connecticut. Before that time, Magyar served as vice president of the Financial and Professional practice at Marsh, where she was responsible for large and complex placements. At Marsh, Magyar was a national resource for technology, telecommunications, media and MPL risks and gained international experience working at Lloyds of London, where she actively brokered deals in London.
