I wouldn\’t invest in One Beacon if this is the same book of business acquired from Atlantic Mutual. Giving away the house will never bring in profit. Atlantic\’s shortcomings were that it treated its employees like Bull Cockazoid (Roanoke sucks!) Those employees who tried bringing in a premium that commensurated with the exposures presented were chastised for upsetting \”loyal agents.\” In the end Atlantic Mutual is a miserable failure and those who took its book of business will not be far behind.
Is Mike Keane still there? I met him at an agents event. He was less than impressive and his employees badmouthed his integrity ande ability the whole time. I moved most of my book subsequently.

The lighthouse is on the precipice, looking for the street to the come to the rescue in an IPO salvage operation and re-float them. They must first squeeze the proverbial sponge and get rid of the bilge water they\’ve taken on before this ship can be righted.
