OneBeacon Insurance has signed an agreement with Trident Marine Managers, Inc. to represent its ocean marine division in the commercial hull and casualty marine markets. A marine-specialty Managing General Agent (MGA) with a 25- year history of writing such business, Houston-based TMM will represent International Marine Underwriters (IMU), which offers ocean marine solutions for hull, marine liabilities, private-pleasure yachts and ocean cargo.
International Marine Underwriters is a division of OneBeacon Insurance Group, which is rated A (excellent) by A.M. Best. IMU is headquartered in New York City and offers ocean marine solutions for hull, marine liabilities, and private-pleasure yachts, as well as ocean cargo.
OneBeacon Insurance Group, based in Boston, offers specialty and segmented commercial and personal insurance products sold primarily through independent agents.
