Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based QuickQuote Inc., a developer of insurance software, has begun a corporate restructuring.
Mark Malis, founding partner and new company president, replaced Ira Saunders, who is no longer associated with the company. Malis is the original creator of both QuickQuote and QuickFile.
Malis has initiated departmental and personnel changes since taking the reins at QuickQuote in mid-February. The technical support department has been renamed the Customer Service Department, and Ian Hammes has been promoted to customer service manager.
Jerry Boyle, former technical support supervisor, is now the IT manager for QuickQuote.
Malis promoted Natalie Narbonne to QuickFile programming manager. Narbonne said that her department is highly proactive in developing new features and enhancements to QuickFile, relying on agent input and industry trends for direction.
Erik Finstad is the new sales manager and marketing director for QuickQuote.
