They will need to pull people of the streets to run these since it will be tough to get seasoned insurance people to buy into their firm.

Look what they are buying. Look at the unanimous unfavorable feedback. Perhaps they are nearing the end of their business cycle and business life.

I pity the poor fool who…

I am more worried about the poor insureds who have been with local independant agents and are suddenly, through no fault of their own, forced to do business with someone who they did not seek out and who might know absolutely nothing about the insurance industry. The franchisee’s who sign on are not professionals, they are desperate people who sign contracts hoping against hope that they can grab the gold ring and make a gozillion dollars. Then when they find out it takes work to make a living they bail and leave the insureds holding the bag. Then, when Brooke sues the poor franchisee and takes back the franchise it starts over. The victim? You guessed it, it is the consumer. We have dumbed down our industry and it is affecting all of us.

the posting under the heading ‘stop in MADNESS’ was not mine. It sounds like the posting of a deranged individual who is incapable of clear thought.

Seller beware. Brooke has a history of not paying the seller of agencies their residual payments. I just hope J&P gets their money up front.

Woww !! I sure hope all these negative opinions are not the only ones out there or that they are not based on real solid information. My best buddy was able to buy the agency he’d been an agent for 20 years. Brooke gave him 1st crack at the purchase after the agency owner (who’d taken over from his daddy) sold the agency to Brooke w/o ever letting anyone know he was ever even considering selling it. My buddy has spent all summer (No golf this year) trying to meet with all the insureds who’d been neglected by the previous owner in recent years. Paying the Brooke fees does hurt a lot; but at least he did not have to start all over again as he may have had to with a new owner. I hope it all works out for him. Why is there so much negative feedback out there in regard to Brooke ??? Any thoughts ???

with 30 yrs carrier experience I have to say this is the worst, most arrogant agency management I have ever dealt with, good luck to those who think Brooke is the way to..to be independent, what a joke
