Liberty Mutual has enhanced its general liability offering to mid-market businesses in order to account for coverage gaps. In addition, Liberty Mutual is expanding general liability coverages for 10 specific industry segments in the middle market.
All middle market general liability customers will now get 11 automatic coverages that address common gaps, including unintentional failure to disclose, mental anguish included in bodily injury, coverage for health care professionals as insureds, and coverage for injuries to co-employees as a result of Good Samaritan acts.
Additionally, Liberty Mutual has enhanced its general liability coverage for Liberty Direct Solutions, its property and casualty products designed for select industries. The following industries receive the 11 automatic coverages plus others, including expanded coverage for additional insured obligations: Contractors; Manufacturers; Fabricated Metals Manufacturers; Wholesale Distributors; Retailers; Food Processors; Restaurant Owners; Real Estate and Commercial Property Managers; Professional Service Providers; and Janitorial Service Providers.
The new general liability enhancements will be available beginning Jan. 1, 2008.
