Since August 18, 2009, MetLife has approved and denied an Accelerated Benefits Option payment to myself for $40,000.00 no less than six times. I have been told that it was approved verbally, via email, and a written letter, which was mailed to my residence dated September 10, 2009, which clearly stated that I would receive a check for $40,000.00. I received at letter today in the mail from MetLife, which states that I have been denied, there is no further appeals process, and my Life Insurance Policy has been cancelled. I am very ill and could be dying within the next year, I have been in constant contact with MetLife and this company, employees, and representatives have caused so much stress in the life of my wife and myself, MetLife is causing stress that is affecting my health and current medical condition. MetLife should not be allowed to do this to anybody.
