I really believe these topics should be taught in High School. The INS 21 and 22 course information would go a long way in alleviating misperceptions and helping kids understand the importance of planning for the future, like getting a whole life insurance policy and what tax-deferred plans mean and do, and the truths about what is and isn’t covered in certain situations. As it stands, and as was my experience, only the lucky kids who have a college education or parents that pass down that knowledge are made aware of this stuff. I had no idea. My parents were drop outs. IF this stuff had been covered in Public High School, I may have had a chance to make better choices at a much younger age. As it stands, now, I will not have enough to live when I retire. I am going to be one of those people that drain the system. It could have been avoided had I even known. Schools don’t teach children how to live and deal with real life.

You know, this really stinks, our boys and girls are going off to war to protect us and they are not protected by the insurance companies in their homeland. There should be a special provision for them. As long as they notify the insurance carrier Even ATT offers a special relief from phone service charges while they are deployed…
